Verdi's complex and emotionally demanding masterpiece comes to West Green for the first time in a new production directed by Artistic Director William Relton. Set against the heady, glamorous but brittle and fragile backdrop of the 1920s, the production will be led by outstanding Italian American soprano Jessica Rose Cambio in the role of Violetta. Applauded by audiences in London for her performance as Mimi in 'La Boheme' at the Royal Albert Hall in 2013, Jessica will share the stage with Opera Now Rising Star Jung Soo Yunwho thrilled audiences for his portrayal of Lensky in the Grange Park Opera production of 'Eugene Onegin' in 2015.

The production will be designed byColin Falconer whose most recent design is about to open the 2016 season at Chichester Festival Theatre and whose previous work has been seen across the UK and extensively in London's West End.
